After having been trounced to the Startimes Uganda Premier League title by the practical application of the 75% Rule, KCCA FC are faced with another unfamiliar circumstance about the state of perhaps their second most influential player this season, Mustafa Kizza.
This could be very uncharacteristic just after the loss of Allan Okello to Algerian side CF Paradou but seems routine given the manner in which they lost Timothy Awany, Allan Kyambadde and Patrick Kaddu all in the off season.
Kizza’s current contract expires in December 2020 and that means that if KCCA don’t act now, they will have to accept to losing him for free in January 2021 since he has made it clear that he is not renewing his current with the club.
Numerous offers from Sc Vipers and a host of other East African Clubs dominate the list for the Westnile born left back but his agent, Binary Group have different thoughts about the whole stuff.
Agency owner Fahd Adamson Mansoor lamented to that;
“I have held so many businesses especially with West African players but believe me the experience is a lot for us to make the right decision that interests all the stakeholders involved in the Kizza business”.
“Players leave Africa when they are not ready for the big stage straight away, the reason why they need to start in leagues I would describe as stepping stones, after a season or two they can be ready for the big stage”.

Adamson also revealed that Kizza has offers from top clubs in South Africa, Egypt, Sweden, Portugal, Switzerland, Belgium and the USA but that’s not the point, the point is selecting what is good for the development of the player.
“The coaches and scouts of Montreal in the Major League Soccer want Kizza, that’s a team coached by Thierry Henry, who wouldn’t want to be coached by Henry?”.
“But is going to the MSL now the right choice, when there are suitors in European Leagues close to the top five leagues?”.
Kizza scored 4 goals and a handful of assists in the just concluded Uganda Premier League campaign. His dead ball attributes in the local league can only be envied by Mustafa Mujuzi of the relegated Proline Fc, Gadafi Wahab of Wakiso Giants, Said Kyeyune of URA Fc and a few others.
Last year Kizza held talks with MFV Vyskoz of Czech Republic, early this year, Morocco’s Hassania Agadir almost snatched the signature of the 20-year old before he decided to return home. He later had trials with Swiss Challenge League club Lausanne.

It can also influence the decision making of these players based on your analysis of the facts about those clubs. It easily offers the players a hint of what best needs to be done, that’s what we have been missing for sports in westnile and Uganda in general. I look forward having more about westnile sports.
