Serious drama has unfolded at Arua Hill Sc over the “disappearance” of goal keeper Richard Anyama from club duties as well as Arua city.
Sources say that the best goal keeper in the just concluded Big League season “disappeared” from Arua about a fortnight ago and no one, including the club, has formally come up to explain his whereabouts.
But a close source to the goal keeper last week rumored to www.westnilesports.com that;
“It seems somethings did not go to his expectations and he simply felt the best option was to leave the club. It could also be that he received a better offer from another club”.
After a “difficult” paternity leave, Anyama reportedly did not resume club duties as expected and he kept extending his leave till when he eventually disappeared from Arua last week.
But by last Sunday, this website was alerted that Anyama in the company of some unidentified men were seen at the balcony of a Kampala hotel.
That then was followed by a rumor that he was in negotiations to join Congolese side As Vita.
As this website eagerly waited for the details of the meeting to come through early this week, it has again been reported that the former Onduparaka fc and Wakiso Giants short stopper boarded a Zambia bound plane on Wednesday at about 11:25am and that pretty much looks like Lusaka has summed up his current location.
What has not been confirmed is the reason for his travel as all communications made to his known contacts have proved futile.
This has left the Kongolo faithful in total limbo as it has rendered the club with new signings Omedwa from Busoga United and Kimbowa as the available custodians after the earlier departures of Franco Oringa and Mulindwa.
