RAVAGED ARUA HILL SC VISIT BUSOGA UNITED FC

Fresh from two back to back losses, Arua Hill Sc hit Jinja road to face another troubled counterpart.

If the Kongolo boys are allergic to some geographical spheres, then this trip should be another worrying one since their last time out in Jinja was the humble loss to Gaddafi fc almost a fortnight ago.

Busoga United sits ahead of Arua Hill Sc on the table standings due to a slight goal difference and gets into this fixture on the back of a 2-1 loss to UPDF fc.

But if something must worry the Jinja side, it has got to do with the home form this term.

Of the two fixtures so far played at home, a single point has been achieved after a loss to KCCA fc and a draw against Bright Stars.

The only wins have come away from home against newly promoted sides in Gaddafi fc and Tooro United fc.

Does this mean Arua Hill Sc will follow suit as a new boy on the block?

For the Jinja side, when in football moods, danger man Anywar Mustafa Ntege can hurt any defense at any time given the fact that he has scored 3 goals in the 6 league games Busoga United has played so far this season.

On the other side, Arua Hill Sc should be comfortable given the return of Alfred Leku and Ibrahim Faizal from suspension as well as Ivan Eyam, that is, if he has shaken off the malaria that ruled him out of the KCCA fc tie at Barifa stadium.

Innocent Maduka might still miss this engagement due to the fracture but that will not be an issue of concern since Ibrahim Faizal is back.

On the contrary, conceding goals might not be the biggest problem to Livingstone Mbabazi’s side quantity wise but the kindergarten manner in which the goals have been conceded should be the concern.

Upfront should be proper if Alfred Leku gets a part to play given that Arua Hill Sc last scored a goal when he was on pitch and it was specifically him with that goal against URA fc before getting marching orders.

If selected, Arua Hill’s Omedwa Rogers will be contesting against his former employers.

Being the first ever league meeting in between the two sides, a fair league statistic about Busoga United and any Arua based team only relates to Onduparaka fc.

Livingstone Mbabazi’s 3rd game in charge of Onduparaka fc on 29th September 2016 ended in 0-0 draw away to Busoga United in Jinja.

Having met Busoga United 5 times in Jinja, Onduparaka fc has won twice, that is, a 1-0 courtesy of a Rajab Kakooza goal on 14th September 2019 and a 3-0 on 23rd October 2018 through a Vianne Sekajugo brace and another by Ceasor Okhuti.

Busoga United has equally won twice and of course a draw out of the 5 home encounters against Onduparaka fc.

But the above statistics will not matter at all as all that awaits is the manner in which Arua Hill Sc will defy all odds and bounce back convincingly from the last 2 losses and worse still from enemy territory.
