After several months without a substantive head coach, Westnile side Onduparaka fc has finally acquired the services of Goerge William Lutalo.
The former URA assistant coach penned a 3 year deal with the Caterpillars and he joins the side with 2 assistants as goal keeping coach Ibrahim Kongo remains the only technical staff he finds at the Greenlight stadium.
Goerge William Lutalo holds a CAF A license and comes with a fair pack of league experience from his assistant role to former URA Fc and Express Fc tactician Sam Ssimbwa as well as his head coach stints with the defunct SOANA fc and eastern side Jinja Municipal Council (JMC) Hippos.
Lutalo made his first training appearance and address after the evening session at the Comboni grounds at Kira last evening.
About whether he will fit and excel with the side, an onlooker during the training session opened up to www.westnilesports.com as;
“From how he held short time dicussions with Muhammed Shaban, Okocha Rashid, Isaac Okello and former Kitara striker Oloro Nathan, one can easily conclude that there is already some fair chemistry in between the new man and his players and that will be very important in their respective performances”.
Goerge William Lutalo fills the void left after the departure of Harold Joseph Mutyaba earlier this the year.
Mutyaba’s last time out was against Bul Fc at The Kyabazinga Stadium in Jinja in a 3-1 loss.
Of the 11 Startimes Uganda PremierLeague games he managed, Mutyaba won 2, drew 1 and lost 8 as a win, 2 draws and a loss summarized his Uganda Cup reign with the Caterpillars.
Onduparaka fc finished 12th last season in another Covid-19 determined season.
