After several new acquisitions, Onduparaka fc is still hungry for more as the Caterpillars have acquired the services of attacking midfielder Mansoor Safi.
The left sided attacker agreed to a one year deal this morning with an option of extension.
He played for Dynamic S.S before he got poached by Abdallah Mubiru to join the class of Allan Okello, Julius Poloto and Moses Aliro at Kibuli S.S
The pacey midfielder, who participated in the Masaza cup for Buddu but won it in 2018 with Ssingo was signed by Livingstone Mbabazi while at Kyetume from Kenyan outfit Wazito fc but was restricted to only three (3) appearances due to ITC complications.
Before his Onduparaka fc move got formalized this morning, Mansoor had been training with the Caterpillars and highly impressed in the stalemate with Police fc yesterday, something that must have pushed the technical team and management to have his signature.
After confirmation of the transfer this morning, www.westnilesports.com had a chat with one of his former coaches Abdallah Mubiru and he said;
“Mansoor is a good player when well handled by a good coach. This is a good move for him and I must say that Onduparaka fc is very lucky to have obtained him”.
From a tactical view, it is seen as Mansoor will operate in the hole behind Muhammed Shaban as his usually preferred left wing seems to be owned by skillful flanker Agau Rashid with Atamba Nathaniel James Jarieko and Emmanuel Oketch all capable of operating on the same line.
