Arua soccer Academy Football Club captain Allan Mahad “madiba” has bid farewell to the club.
With reports indicating the lanky defender will join Calvary fc, mahad took to his official Facebook account to say goodbye to the soccer Academy family
“I want to say to the fans I LOVE U.
You all made me feel welcomed. I know I might have left at a time none of you has expected me to but all I can say is am SORRY n promise to come back one-day and serve the club at any capacity. Thanks to u all for the support u have always given me I can’t really thank u enough”.
He went ahead to thank the team for the six years he has been with the regional league side.
“To my teammate’s old n new, thank u for the memories, although it wasn’t so easy .you all played a part in making me the man I am today. This isn’t a goodbye because Allah knows we will stay in touch no matter where I am”.
Mahad was one of the longest serving players at the club and he has been a key part in its development.
