Usually at this stage of the cycle in Ugandan football, clubs get engaged in final preparations to kick off the upcoming season.

But the preparations are worth meaningless without the playing staff.

FUFA Big league side Calvary fc is no exception to this as the side unleashed its 2021/2022 squad this morning at Midigo in Yumbe.

The club made several changes to the squad that escaped relegation to the FUFA Regional league by adding 21 new faces onto the 9 survivors from last season.

The newly added players being unveiled are; Choka Julius (Paidha Black Angels), Eric Otingcwing (Paidha Black Angels), Odagiu Khalid (Paidha Black Angels), Kilama Victor (Paidha Black Angels), Adriko Nazar (B.K City), Kedi Michael (Eastland), Elungat Emmanuel (Eastland), Oture Kenneth (Bugiri High School), Maganda Saleh (Bugiri High School), Wabuleta Jackson (Soroti City Fc), Opio Nelson (Saviors Fc) Arop Desmond (Amuka Bright Stars fc), Norman Brown, Oeng Ivan (Gulu City fc), Oonyu Paul (Blacks Power fc), Owing Ronald (Ndejje University), Atube Rogers (Ndejje University), Tabu Vitalis (Bul fc), Obedmoth David (Pakwach Super Eagles) and Obwoya James (Ntinda United)

Former Sc Villa, Onduparaka fc, URA fc and Bul fc attacker Tabu Vitalis being unveiled by Calvary fc at Midigo today.

These were added onto last season’s remnants in; Angufindru Norman, Adriko Emmanuel, Afema Milton, Feni Rahuman, Ahmed Ramadhan, Andama Sabir, Talib Kassim, Agotre Christopher and Malingumu Julius.

Andama Junior: One of Calvary’s best performers last season joined Arua Hill Sc in a highly contested transfer recently.

For starters, soon after the end of last season, the club unveiled a new technical team with Acholi Province and former Gulu United fc coach Akena Godfrey as the head coach being deputized by former Olila High Ss, Lady Doves Fc, Blacks Power Fc and current head coach of the Karamoja province Ongodia John as well as former Gulu United fc goal keeping coach Ogengo Charles.

The side parted ways with former technical director Dudu Bosco who of recent was unveiled by premier league side Onduparaka fc in the same capacity.

The 2021/2022 FUFA Big League is expected to kick off soon after that of the Uganda premier league that has been scheduled to take off on 15th October 2021.
