Two teams in contrasting situations meet in what many describe as one of those season defining dates at Barifa stadium in Arua.

Having not met before at this stage will not deprive either side of the hustle as the host seeks to bounce back from a painful loss to usual enemy Gaddafi fc and the visitor looks towards maintaining its perfect record so far this term.

To make amends meet, Livingstone Mbabazi must find holistic solutions to the gaps left by high flying Leku Alfred and midfield iron man Ibrahim Faizal who both miss through suspension.

If being left in between a rock and a hard place is bitter, then the gaffer will have to embrace a more bitter situation given the fact that Innocent Maduka and Ivan Eyam will not feature due to a fracture and malaria respectively.

On a lighter note for the leopards, Livingstone Mbabazi has had a pleasing home record against most of the league sides in his capacity as head coach at different clubs and this particular opponent has been one of his victims before.

In the 5 fixtures the Kongolo boys have taken part this season, a draw against neighbors Onduparaka fc has been flanked by 2 wins and the same number of losses having scored 6 goals and conceding 5 in the process.

On the other side of the calm but entertaining visitor, an uncomfortable win over Brian Ssenyondo’s UPDF fc last time out should be clearly forgotten about with an easy victory over the usually unpredictable side.

The table toppers head into this fixture with the 3rd best attack having scored 11 times. Only Vipers Sc and URA fc have better tallies with 12 and 13 respectively.

The Kasasiro boys will miss the services of Brian Aheebwa, Brian Kayanja, Peter Magambo and Alex Emmanuel Wasswa due to injury as defender Denis Iguma did not make the trip to Arua.

And if history is to go by, 2 wins and a draw managed by Tom Lwanga and Polly Ouma’s sides against Leo Adraa’s Arua Young Stars in the early 90s on the same pitch should be a positive factor to Morley Byakwaso’s side even if he was only an understudy KCC fc player by then.

To even have more historic insight into the fixture, KCCA fc’s 4th game in the 2016/2017 season was in Arua against Livingstone Mbabazi’s Onduparaka fc at the Greenlight stadium in a 2-1 loss. A Muhammed Shaban brace won the game in which current Arua Hill Sc players Toha Rashid, Gaddafi Gardinho, Gaddafi Wahab, Anyama Richard and the suspended Ibrahim Faizal all featured for the caterpillars.

On the side of making sure that the game is played according its established rules, Ronald Madanda will officiate his 2nd Arua Hill Sc home game out of the three (3) having whistled the Arua City derby against Onduparaka fc last month.

He will be assisted by Timothy Gumisiriza and Mario Okwang as Henry Byaruhanga and Sulaiman Matovu will be fourth official and match assessor respectively.

In the day’s other fixtures, Sc Villa entertain Onduparaka fc at Njeru technical centre, Express fc take on red hot Wakiso Giants at Wankulukuku, Police fc host Mbarara city at Lugogo, UPDF fc against Busoga United and Soltilo Bright Stars are at home to Tooro United at Kavumba.

Saturday pits Vipers Sc against URA fc at Kitende as this game round closes with Bul fc playing hosts to Gaddafi fc in another classic Jinja derby.
